Job Title: Business Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a sharp, data-driven, and proactive Business Analyst with 2–3 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, to support strategic decision-making and process optimization at BRFM India. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between operations and technology to drive efficiency, standardization, and business intelligence across functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Analysis
- Gather, evaluate, and translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and success criteria for new projects or process changes.
2. Process Optimization
- Analyze current business and manufacturing workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Use data and field inputs to support business process reengineering and automation initiatives.
3. Solution Implementation
- Coordinate with operations, IT, and other departments to design and deploy solutions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Monitor and refine deployed systems to ensure business objectives are met.
4. Documentation
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation such as process maps, SOPs, system requirements, user guides, and project deliverables.
- Maintain traceability of changes for compliance and audit readiness.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar to extract insights from operational and business data.
- Generate dashboards and reports to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and provide project updates.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment between operations, leadership, and support teams.
7. Project Coordination
- Assist in managing ongoing improvement projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Track milestones, manage timelines, and resolve cross-functional dependencies.
8. Testing & Validation
- Coordinate system and process testing to ensure functionality meets business requirements.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues during user acceptance testing (UAT).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector
- Strong skills in business process optimization and reengineering
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and/or ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and analytical thinking
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across all levels
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing setup
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Exposure to ERP implementation or digital transformation initiatives
